A true story of childhood terror. Footsteps in the hall, shadows in the dark, and a figure at the foot of my bed—this haunting experience has never left me.
I have so many stories including dream visitations from angels like my dad, my dog, and a mentor. But one night after my parents divorced my mother rented us a house and one night a ghost grabbed my ankle! I have another memory in a different house where I felt a hand go around my waist. When I am paranormally touched I just get so scared I feel paralyzed. I can't even scream. Your story is just in time for Halloween.
Ya not fun and I hope you never experience that. Flip side of the coin are the visits from loved ones that are comforting. I lost my father to a car accident when I was 13. I am 60 now and it is still difficult. When I was 19 I had my own apartment, no roommates. I fell asleep crying, missing my dad. Then he came to me in a dream. I felt a hug and all I could see was swirling energy. It comforted me. I will share another experience. After my x husband and I lost our dog she came to me a few days later and showed me her new friend, a spotted guinea pig. It must have been between 3 and 4am and I awoke. The message was loud and clear, she was letting us know she was alright. That spotted guinea pig belonged to my x husband long before I met him and I never met the guinea pig. I loved that dog more than any animal I ever had, from horses to cats etc. I trained her, she was a border collie cattle dog mix.
Awww the dream visits are the best. I lost an uncle to suicide when I was 15. He was my favorite person and still occasionally visits in dreams where I catch him up on things he’s missed. No matter what anyone feels or believes is the source of those dreams, you can’t deny how powerful, helpful, and meaningful they are.

That feeling of not being able to scream is the WORST. At least I wasn’t touched, that sounds horrific.
